We pay fair prices for really good tea from farms in Africa and India, to make a lovely blend that’s big on flavor, seriously refreshing and kind to the people who grow it. The Yorkshire Tea recipe is a closely guarded secret. Created in 1977, it’s a blend of around 25 teas based on an original recipe created by our founder Charles Taylor in the late 19th century. An all-rounder - great with Afternoon Tea cakes and sandwiches (eg ham, beef and horseradish or BLT), banana and walnut loaf or ice cream.
