Traditional English Maynards Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts are delicious layers of liquorice and fondant. 

George Bassett began his confectionery business in Sheffield, England in 1842 and the colourful combination of sweets known as liquorice allsorts were created by accident in 1899 when salesman Charlie Thompson mixed up the sweets he was carrying, creating a new and much-loved treat.
